Welcome to your seven-week journey of self-discovery, guided by a timeless system of meditations and techniques drawn from centuries of writings of alchemists, philosophers, and Jung—dedicated to your personal and spiritual transformation.
My philosophy of birth story work is rooted in my experience that, rather than striving to “heal our birth stories” through contemplation and a patient examination of our beliefs and stories of shock or trauma after an initiatory experience, our birth story “heals us.”
The opus magnum of alchemy means our “great inner, spiritual work,” remembering who we are, our authentic selves. It means bringing the divided mind and heart into union, becoming whole again.
There are many ways to process a birth story or other experiences in life. During these seven weeks, you will choose something in your life that feels heavy or dense, such as lead, a memory or belief that feels hardened in your heart, and week by week, practice one of the seven meditations of alchemical transformation, rich in symbolism. Making art or altars deepens the work. You will experience a gradual, yet profound transformation of mind, body, relationships, inner visions, and self-talk; the transformation is uplifting and lasting.
I began studying psychological alchemy three years ago and it captivated my imagination; it seeped into my dreams, painting, meditation, and birth story sessions. It's a powerful medicine.
I invite you to enter our Temenos of Alchemy to be enchanted by the once-secret but ever-practical system of symbols, metaphors, meditations, and personal practice.
I envision creating an ongoing community with members after this introduction. As your guide, I will continue to support and facilitate your journey of personal and spiritual transformation.
